Lucky Miss E was given some fairies, a new toadstool and a DIY terrarium kit for Christmas. We decided to revamp her fairy garden and blend the old and new fairy garden accessories together.
The flowers we planted at the start of spring had finally started flowering in Miss E’s original fairy garden, She is constantly adding to it, collecting things around the yard and when we are out and about in the form of rocks, dirt, seed pods, sticks, grass, leaves and flowers.
The DIY terrarium made by Growing Creations by Rushi contained everything you could possibly need to create a beautiful scene. It had cute little animals that Miss E fell in love with. She loved putting it together and decided to put it front and center in her large pot of fairy garden treasures.
Miss E was so excited with her garden and carefully added all of the little bits and pieces to her pot. She helped to plant the bee and butterfly mix seedlings, only needing a small amount of assistance to straighten the seedlings that were sideways.
The Tinkerbell fairies needed their own special places in the fairy garden and were placed very selectively throughout. Each day the plants have grown more and more and Miss E constantly says “Wow, so beautiful” when she looks at it. I’m so glad our daughter has such an admiration for nature.
